A special event was held in the course of the school’s Winters High School Winters High School

Winters High School will be named”king” and “queen” at the end of Friday’s halftime presentation which took place at Blizzard Stadium.

Queen’s potential candidates include (left beginning with left , moving to the left and then towards left): Myra Ochoa, McCaelyn Beuschel, Alyssara Rorigges and Ashton Reyna.

It was a great day in The Winters Public Library. We were thrilled to take part in the programs held by the library and taking part in the many activities we offer our patrons all through the season. The theme of this year’s event was Tails & Tales. Students were captivated by the fascinating life of insects, and other animals which live on Earth. The program gave students the opportunity to become acquainted with the creatures for their time. After the event , students were treated to a day filled full of fun by the water. Hot dogs and water were served for dinner.

The meeting was held on the second in September. The intention was to discuss the possibility of restarting the book group. To increase the number of members and to boost participation, we’ll choose the topics for each year according to the genre that the author has written about, or topic. Participants are able to select the books they’d be interested in discussing with respect to the subject. In celebration of Forbidden books week (September 26-October 2. ) The October session will focus on the book that is being discussed, which can be found in the collections, but is not included in this collection. The discussion will be held from 22:30 to 22:02. p.m. each second Monday of each month. The next session is scheduled to start on the 11th of November.

2021 Miles Cotton Queen named

The third most valuable prize went the prize to Payton Branham. Payton Branham is the sole child who was not legally born. Phoebe Branham and Garry Branhm are both seniors in Miles HS. Kameryn Schwertner has two children. One of them was named Danelle and she also has an older sister who is named Danelle. Donnie Schwertner was chosen for the third place . Emily Sklenarik, daughter of Vanessa and Mark Sklenarik, senior at Miles High.

The judges for the contest were Mrs. Lindsey Rea of San Angelo co-owner and director of Branded Cotton Boutique in San Angelo and the pastoral assistant Ann Williams of Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles and Brooke Hoelscher Strube who previously was the Miles Miles contestant after the end of the competition. The judges assessed each contestant in a separate interview, which took place on September 6, and that day on September 6.
